Right from the start as a tiny pup, our pooch learned to “freeze” when we put her gear on for a walk. It wasn’t so much that we taught her this, it was just something she did – kind of a natural tendency. So we went with it and praised her for it.
Today on the snowy trail she had run ahead of us a bit and I yelled “Freeze” … and she did.
Gotta love the pup.
